Our briefing templates asks end-to-end questions - from purpose to measurable outcomes - to ensure you create an effective brief as efficiently as possible. We offer different project templates for different purposes, e.g. programming, designing, or website, shop, newsletter. Within each of them you find tailor made questions specifically adapted to your project needs regarding timing, scope, stakeholders, technology.

How does BRIEFING.WORKS work?
You will be led through BRIEFING.WORKS guided process in setting up your briefing and get recommendations along the way based on decades of experience in software development for the web and digital brand and marketing in Fortune 500 companies.
Do I have to create my own briefing from scratch?
No, you do not have to create your own briefing from scratch. BRIEFING.WORKS offers pre-defined templates with built-in recommendations from experts in their fields.
Can I collaborate with team members, partners and clients?
Yes, you can invite team members, partners and clients to your BRIEFING.WORKS workspaces. Note that the number of co-creators you can add varies by subscription type. Find out more at our pricing page.
What programs can I currently export BRIEFING.WORKS too?
We currently offer integration with Atlassian Confluence and Asana. We are actively working on extending our integrations with other workflow solutions and will inform our subscribers as and when new export options become available.

Our aim is to make BRIEFING.WORKS accessible to everyone, from starting freelancers to enterprise clients. Our focus is on helping freelancers by making the briefing process as easy, frictionless and fun as possible.
We offer three types of subscriptions:
- FREE - tailored for starting freelancers and independent contractors, we offer BRIEFING.WORKS for free, for life. You have access to the full feature-set at launch and built-in expertise but are limited in the number of workspaces, team members and clients you can add.
- PROFESSIONAL - our standard subscription for managing multiple projects with full access to all features, built-in expertise and an ability to add unlimited workspaces, team members and clients.
- ENTERPRISE - for large companies and agencies we offer a fully customisable solution for integrating BRIEFING.WORKS in your existing processes and systems.

I want to downgrade from professional to free:
If you downgrade from our professional package to the free package you will be asked to select the 3 briefings you want to keep editable. The other briefings will not be lost but inactive and non-editable.
I want to upgrade from free to professional:
Please log in to your account and go to your personal profile. You will be able to upgrade quickly and easily via the upgrade option in your profile.
I want to upgrade from professional to enterprise:

Are you collecting any other inormation related to my account?
Yes, we do collect anonymised user data via our analytics tools. The purpose of collecting this information is to optimise your BRIEFING.WORKS experience and ensure future developments align with your needs.

How is my information stored?
The information you share with BRIEFING.WORKS is confidentially and securely stored in Vienna, Austria. We store your data in compliance with the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not transfer your data. You may add users in different geographic areas for which different regulations apply.
What happens with my information when I cancel my subscription?
When you cancel your subscription your information is retained for a period of 1-month to safeguard a quick and easy activation in case you wish to re-subscribe. Exercise your rights if you do not wish your information to remain in storage.
